The shared areas are generous enough for a family to move around each other without negotiation. An in-suite washer-dryer means a longer stay doesn’t require packing for every eventuality.

What Being Central Actually Means

Taksim Square is twelve minutes on foot. İstiklal Caddesi is eight. The Bosphorus waterfront at Tophane is ten minutes downhill. Galata Tower is seventeen. Exploring Istanbul with children from this neighbourhood means starting from somewhere worth starting — the cobblestone streets of Çukur Cuma, the antique dealers, the cats, the hammam next door.
